Illness can shake even the most resilient of us. Questions often arise:

  • What will happen to my family?
  • Will I recover?
  • Will I change?

Anxiety, fear, guilt, difficulty concentrating, challenges in communicating with loved ones, and changes in sleep patterns are just some of the ways physical or mental illness can disrupt quality of life. Over time, these struggles can also affect our beliefs and make it harder to adapt to new challenges.

As an art therapist specialized in psycho-oncology, I have practiced in hospital settings with both children and adults.
